Shannon Ashley was created as a space where two seemingly different worlds don’t just meet, but belong together. Where high fashion and sport exist side by side, and where women can feel powerful, sparkly, and expressive — while still being taken seriously in spaces that weren’t always designed with us in mind.

To me, fashion is more than what we wear. It’s a language. A way to express what we love, where we belong, and who we are — without needing to say a word. Every piece is designed to capture that feeling, brought to life through intricate beading and thoughtful detail, inspired by the beauty, energy, and global spirit of Formula 1.

At the heart of Shannon Ashley is a commitment to creating wearable art with intention. Through upcycling and consciously chosen materials, each piece is made not only to empower the woman wearing it, but to honour the world we live in — proving that fashion can be both sustainable and beautiful.

Welcome to my world — I’m so glad you’re here!

My journey started when I was 15, teaching myself to sew and upcycle clothes because nothing I owned ever felt quite right. I didn’t feel like I fit into them — or into the expectations around me. But through transforming old pieces into something new, I discovered a sense of confidence, creativity, and possibility I hadn’t felt before.

Later, when I fell in love with sport — especially Formula 1 — I found myself navigating two opposing identities. Being both a fashion lover and deeply fascinated by the precision, detail, and engineering of the sport often came with assumptions. So instead of choosing one, I built something new.

Shannon Ashley is that space.

The name itself is personal — Shannon Ashley comes from my first and middle name. I chose it because it feels like me, and because sometimes the simplest way to be understood is to show up exactly as you are.

After recently graduating from the University of Technology Sydney with a Bachelor of Design in Fashion and Textiles, this brand has become not just my creative outlet, but my purpose — a way to share this message with you.

From my story to yours, we’re connected by the belief that two things can exist at once. That fashion can be both expressive and powerful. That sustainability and beauty belong together. And that sport and femininity are not opposites — they’re a perfect pairing.
